Don Halcombe has shaped communications strategies and delivered results for some of the world’s most admired and beloved entertainment brands

Most recently, Don worked at Netflix, where he oversaw the company’s series communications team. Previously he worked on the originals publicity team, where he created campaigns for popular series including “Orange is the New Black,” “Grace and Frankie,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” “A Series of Unfortunate Events,” “Stranger Things” and many more.

Before Netflix, Don spent years in daytime television, including serving as Director of Communications for Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Studios, where he promoted all television series and specials produced by Harpo, including “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” He also helped successfully launch “Steve Harvey” and “The Dr. Oz Show.”​

Prior to Harpo, Don worked in non-fiction television, including at TLC, where he oversaw publicity for the hit series “Trading Spaces” and “Little People Big World,” and at National Geographic Channels International, where he established systems of program publicity across regional offices worldwide and crafted global promotional strategies.

Don’s campaigns have generated coverage in top-tier national media including Good Morning America, Today, Morning Joe, Entertainment Tonight, CNN, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, People, Fortune, Deadline, Variety, THR, and more.
